KARACHI: The Meteorological office on Tuesday predicted pleasant weather for the next week in Karachi with chances of drizzle in parts of the city as the new developing system is likely to interact with monsoon currents.

A weather advisory issued by the Met office said that the westerly wave was at present affecting the upper and central parts of the country and this trend was likely to interact with monsoon currents on the evening and night of Wednesday (today), gripping most parts of the country on Thursday.

“Under the influence of this weather system wind/thunderstorm/rain is expected at scattered places in ... Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad and Karachi from Wednesday evening to Saturday,” said the advisory.
