Street crime

Published September 19, 2019

THE law and order situation in Karachi in recent days has again deteriorated. This is causing great anxiety among the public.

According to a survey, crimes such as snatching mobile phones, armed robbery and mugging have increased alarmingly.

Street criminals target citizens who withdraw money from ATMs, especially university students, particularly girls, knowing they are unlikely to report the matter to the police.

This is an appeal to Karachi police to launch a stringent crackdown on street criminals.
