Nadra message

Published July 19, 2019

RECENLTY, a family member of mine received a message from the National Database and Registration Authority stating “An application lodged against tracking ID XYZ received at NRC is now located in pigeon hole D etc., please collect your card from the NRC where you applied”.

I wanted to find out if Nadra made a mistake in sending this message to my relative or is there some sort of scam going on or someone is trying to steal personal information because no one in my family has applied for a computerised national identity card in the last couple of weeks. Hoping Nadra can clarify.
