ISLAMABAD, July 16: The Pakistan Women’s Swimming Association on Saturday selected 15 swimmers for the 4th Islamic Women’s Games in Tehran. The two-day trials held at the Pakistan Sports Complex pool were conducted in the presence of Mrs Veena Masud, secretary of the swimming association.

The Islamic Games are scheduled to be held from Sept 22 to 28.

The team: Kiran Khan, Sana Wahid, Rubab Raza, Eesha Khan, Rida Sabhat, Khadija Khalid, Aysha Tajwar, Aysha Akram, Aysha Tariq, Afia Shah, Anam Shahid, Anam Haji, Saneem Sheshmahal, Ayza Tareen, Azalfa Shafi. Mrs Sumbal Sadiq (manager), Mrs Liu Jie Yun (coach), Mrs Shahi Khan (assistant coach).
