KARACHI: Despite an excellent six-wicket haul by spinner Anwar Khan, Pak Gymkhana suffered a 50-run defeat against Pak Star CC in the opening third phase fixture the KCCA Zone-IV PCB Fazal Mahmood National Club Cricket Cham­pionship here on Saturday

Off-spinner Anwar grabbed 6-18 in seven overs as Pak Star were dismissed for 174 in 33.2 overs at the Pak Star Ground. Rehan Khan struck 11 boundaries in making 67.

Pak Gymkhana, in reply, were sent packing for 124 in 29.4 overs with paceman Rafiq Khattak (4-31) and off-spinner Raja Aftab (3-18) derailing their chase.
