NBF book fair begins

ISLAMABAD: A three-day annual National Book Fair 2019 began at Pak-China Friendship Centre on Friday, featuring a number of literary activities including books launching ceremonies, literary sessions, dialogues and discussions.

The annual fair was being organised by National Book Foundation (NBF), National History and Literary Heritage Division in connection with the National Book Day to be observed on April 22.

The book fair is being held under the supervision of Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahood.

Renowned scholars, writers, literary figures, intellectual and artists were also participating in the festival and will share insights for promotion of book reading.
