LAHORE: Acting Governor Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi held a meeting with Chief Minister Usman Buzdar at the Chief Minister’s House here on Monday and assured his party (PML-Q)’s full support to him.

“Our party is standing with Prime Minister Imran Khan and you on every issue,” Mr Elahi told him.

During the meeting, consultation was also held regarding making Wazirabad Cardiology Hospital functional and it was decided that all hurdles in this regard should be removed and it be made functional without any further delay. Both leaders also exchanged views regarding prevailing political situation in the province.

Early, PML-Q MNA Moonis Elahi dismissed reports of his meeting with PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif’s son Hamza.

“Surprised to see this (propaganda). I have not met him (Hamza) nor do I want to.

As far as my father (Pervaiz Elahi) is concerned, he isn’t interested in becoming chief minister of Punjab,” Moonis said in a tweet.
