LAHORE: A rickshaw driver was run over and killed by a tractor-trolley on Chandroy Road, the Kot Lakhpat police said on Monday.

A police official said Jamil was on his way to Township on his three-wheeler to pick school children.

As soon as he reached Chandroy Road, a tractor-trolley collided with the rickshaw.

Jamil fell down on the road and came under the wheels of the tractor-trolley, causing his instant death, the police official said adding the driver managed his escape, leaving his vehicle.

The police seized the tractor-trolley and registered a case against him, he said.
