Afzal Kohistani

Published March 12, 2019

IT broke my heart when I read about the death of Afzal Kohistani. It made me come to the depressing realisation that some of my countrymen are nothing more than barbarians. For years he had been fighting for justice for his brothers who were killed after a leaked video in 2012. Kohistani’s younger brothers were seen dancing in a wedding video along with four women who were singing and clapping. The women were later killed in the name of ‘honour’.

Seven years later, they got Kohistani as well.
