Thank you S. Arabia

Published February 21, 2019

I WOULD like to thank Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who has ordered the immediate release of 2,107 Pakistani prisoners from Saudi jails.

Thank you again for drastically reducing the visit visa fees for Pakistanis effective from Feb 15, according to a press statement by the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad.

The fee reduction was announced ahead of the first official state visit of the crown prince. This decision will help thousands of Pakistani nationals working in the Kingdom to bring family members on visit visas.

Thank you for all your help.

THE assurance given by Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman in response to the request made by Prime Minister Imran Khan to consider the Pakitanis working in Saudi Arabia as his own and the swift action taken thereafter by the Saudi government to order the release of 2,107 Pakistanis in Saudi prisons is a truly kingly act.

The Saudi prince has won the hearts of all Pakistanis. The nation is grateful to him.

Prime Minister Imran Khan too deserves accolades for leading from the front and being the voice of the poor overseas Pakistanis languishing in Saudi jails.

One prays that the ties between the two countries strengthen further in years to come and the relationship yields mutual benefits to both countries.
