LAHORE: IGP Amjad Javed Saleemi says Police Khidmat Counters have become functional at district headquarters hospitals to facilitate citizens and police employees as well.

He said the scheme was being launched in tehsils as well and Faisalabad district established such counters in its six tehsils, says a handout issued on Thursday.

The counters help people get character certificates, acquisition of first information report copy, renewal of driving licence, registration of tenants, general police verification, issue of learner driving license, international driving license and duplicate driving licence, employee verification, vehicles verification, crime reports and women violence reports.
