TERRORISTS tried to attack the Chinese Consulate situated in the posh Clifton locality a little over a week ago, but they did not succeed.

Two policemen sacrificed their lives while a security guard was injured in the line of fire.

These brave men put their lives in danger to protect the people of this port city.

The Chinese really appreciated their brave act and this led a senior Chinese diplomat in Islamabad, Lijian Zhao, to tweet from his official account: “China and Pakistan are iron brothers. This is a people-to-people friendship.”

The Chinese have also volunteered to donate money to the families of the policemen and security guard who fought the attackers. This gesture is an example of love, kindess and how much the Chinese value humanity.

I think this incident should make Pakistanis like you and me join hands and show our support.

China has been a gread friend to Pakistan. It has been there in our time of need. The Chinese have also taught us to be generous and kind. I believe it is time we learnt something from the benevolent Chinese.
