A clash between workers of PPP and GDA has left at least five people injured in Chak No 1 near Golarchi town of Badin district.

The polling process in the affected polling station has been suspended.

The district administration has despatched more troops to control the situation in the area.

Dr Zulfikar Ali Mirza and his spouse are contesting elections on PS-74 and NA-230 respectively against PPP's Mohammad Ismail Rahu and Haji Rasool Bux Chandio in the affected constituency.
