In a first for the city of Rojhan, situated in South Punjab's Rajanpur district, denizens will be able to exercise their constitutional right to vote on July 25.

After the arrest of Ghulam Rasool, the ringleader of the Chotoo Gang, in 2016 from the area, people will be able to cast the ballot without any fear or duress.

Ten polling stations have been formed in the city, which is situated on the banks of the Sindh river. Punjab police officials and officers from Pakistan Army have arrived at Government Primary School Basti Murad with polling supplies and other election day materials.

These will be delivered soon to polling stations under the watch of armed police and army officials.
