In our online elections survey we asked our readers their thoughts and plans regarding the upcoming general elections.

18,136 people responded, of whom 55.72pc said they voted in the 2013 elections.

Question: Did you vote in the 2013 elections?

When asked if they plan to vote in the upcoming elections, 66.73pc said they are planning on casting the ballot. That's nearly 11pc more people than those who voted the last time.

Question: Do you plan to vote in the upcoming elections?

While this is encouraging to note, what's disconcerting is the fact that 1,583 respondents said they were not yet registered.
