This statement comes from an analyst quoted in a Dawn story this morning on the struggles of the Pakistan People's Party amidst the changing political dynamics in their home province of Sindh.

"The PPP is not only competing with its traditional opponents but with also its former allies/parliamentarians," the report goes on to say, citing an anonymous party member who concedes that:

The PPP was hoping to sweep seven seats in Thatta and Sujawal, but the PTI and the GDA spoilt all the fun. The novice, Arsalan Brohi, is competing on a PTI ticket and he’s not backing down despite all attempts.

The picture doesn't seem too rosy for the PPP in other parts of Sindh either. Find out the rest here.

And while we're talking about the party, you might also want to read Bilawal's recent interview with the Reuters here.
