ON the one hand, India wants to improve bilateral relations through small steps like soft visas and respecting each other; on the other, it has unleashed a virulent propaganda against Pakistan.

Narendra Modi handed over a picture of Pakistan troops surrendering to India at Dhaka. They want to pin Bharat Ratna on RAW chief Kao who fomented insurgency in East Pakistan.

To isolate Pakistan, India is unwilling to attend SAARC conference. It is on a defence spending-spree to master the Indian Ocean and skies. It is trying tooth and nail to sabotage the CPEC.

Let India know that the key to peace in the region lies in solving the Kashmir tangle and respecting neighbours in letter and in spirit.
