THIS refers to the supplement, ‘Perspectives the CPEC 2018 Summit (May 22).

The phenomenal rise of the Chinese on the world stage is due to their hard work and discipline. They are here to help us learn how to work hard and stand on our own feet.

They are building highways, constructing power plants, running telecommunications companies, driving orange trains, have a stake in the bourse, managing a port, investing in agriculture, involved in safe city projects, establishing supermarkets, restaurants, running janitorial services, their language is being taught at our educational institutions, and our students studying at universities in China.

Recently they have opened a bank to settle bilateral trade and investment transactions between the two countries in the yuan. And now we hear Alibaba group taking over the ecommerce business.

The shopping malls all over the country and mega stores are all stacked with Chinese goods. They are now seen everywhere, in restaurants, driving, picnicking, and at parties and clubs. They are a welldisciplined nation, being an allweather friend. Would it be asking too much if services of a few of them are obtained temporarily to train and discipline the traffic on our unruly roads?
