ON May 12 a girl named Umm-i-Rubab rushed in front of cavalcade. She had a poster demanding justice for her brother, Qabil Chandio, and other members of her family.

Before her desparate action, her family also tried to file a writ petition. The accused are very influential feudal lords and members of the Provincial Assembly.

I request the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo motu notice so that the persons involved in heinous acts of violation of fundamental rights of her family might be brought to justice.
