PESHAWAR: ANP general secretary Mian Iftikhar Hussain has termed the 100-day plan of PTI ‘a brainchild of aliens’ while QWP provincial chairman Sikandar Sherpao described it as a political gimmick.

In a press statement here on Monday, Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that the PTI plan seemed to be chalked out by ‘aliens’. He said that every political party presented its manifesto or plan for future before elections but PTI didn’t fulfil what it promised for the first 90 days of its rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa when it came into power.

The ANP leader said that contrary to its claims, PTI set very bad examples of mismanagement. He said that the present government already decided to merge tribal areas with the province bur despite that PTI included it in its plan. He said that PTI boycotted the session and delayed passage of Fata Reforms Bill when it was tabled in the National Assembly.

Mr Hussain said that creating 10 million jobs was another funny announcement as many appointments were delayed in several projects initiated by ANP during its previous government in the province. He said that PTI made claims on social media about bringing reforms but the real picture was shown during the recent visit of chief justice of Pakistan to the province.

QWP says provincial govt failed to materialise its 90-day agenda

Meanwhile, QWP provincial chairman Sikandar Sherpao told a press conference here on Monday that the 100-day plan of PTI was a political gimmick as the party was not sincere to bring real change in the country.

He said that provincial government of PTI failed to implement its 90-day agenda, which was announced in 2013. “How it can be possible to execute such a plan in the entire country,” he questioned.

The QWP leader said that the 100-day plan of PTI included some provincial subjects, which was a violation of the 18th Amendment. He said that Imran Khan’s 100-day plan was nothing more than election sloganeering.

He said that there was no sign of change in health and education sectors in the province. He said that there was a marked difference between the hollow slogans and deeds of PTI chief Imran Khan. He criticised the provincial government for not launching any mega project in the province. He added that the only mega project Bus Rapid Transit also remained incomplete that proved incompetence of PTI.

Mr Sherpao said that Chief Minister Pervez Khattak was inaugurating incomplete schemes. He said that opening of a portion of Swat motorway was wrong.

He said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ehtesab Commission was set up to eliminate corruption but it also failed to achieve the target owing to intervention of the provincial government.
