ISLAMABAD: Ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz MNA Rajab Ali Khan Baloch died at a hospital here on Sunday.

Mr Baloch, who was elected from NA-78 Faisalabad, was a cancer patient and had been under treatment for the past one year.

On Nov 21, 2017, Mr Baloch went to the National Assembly despite the fact that he was admitted to the hospital and voted against the bill which suggested that a disqualified person could not become head of a political party.

Next day, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif visited the hospital to say thanks to Mr Baloch.

A hospital official said the body was handed over to the grieving family.
