Telenor has recently launched its self service, ATM-type booths across Pakistan, which will provide consumers the option of availing multiple Telenor and Easy Paisa services at their own convenience, at any time of the day.

What is a Telenor self-service booth?

Launching for the first time in Pakistan, the booth is similar to an ATM machine equipped with biometric verification. It enables customers to avail many Telenor and Easy Paisa services without having to go to a service franchise, which not only closes at 5pm, but also has long queues.

The booth puts to use technologies used within the banking industry to bring to consumers a variety of service and product options accessible from different points across the country.

What services does it offer?

The booth will allow consumers to

  • Buy a new SIM card

  • Replace a SIM card

  • Get Easy Load top-ups

  • Buy Easy Card

  • Open bank accounts

  • Send and receive money through Easy Paisa

Other than that, customers will also be able to lock their complaints instantly on this self-service booth.

According to the Telenor Pakistan, these machines will be strategically placed across the country. Currently this booth has been launched in Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Faisalabad and Gujranwala.

With the introduction of self-service booths, Telenor aims to impact and improve customers’ quality of life and save their time.

Introduced to the Pakistani market in 2005, Telenor Pakistan holds a decade of achievements to its credit and a subscriber base of over 40 million, making it the second largest mobile operator in Pakistan.
