Shadow of the Tomb Raider’s teaser trailer

A third entry in publisher Square Enix’s modern Tomb Raider trilogy, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, has been announced for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

The teaser trailer features the main character Lara Croft looking out towards the Mayan pyramids, suggesting that the new game may take place in South America. The Shadow of the Tomb Raider will arrive on September 14 with a full-reveal for the game arriving on April 27.

“Experience Lara Croft’s defining moment as she becomes the Tomb Raider,” reads the synopsis.

Square Enix relaunched the Tomb Raider video game series in 2013, which featured a younger, less experienced, more realistic Lara Croft. A sequel, Rise of the Tomb Raider, was released in 2015.

Fantastic Beasts 2 trailer revealed

Jude Law portrays a younger Albus Dumbledore in the first trailer for J.K. Rowling’s second entry in her Harry Potter prequel series, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

The clip features the series returning to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where Dumbledore is confronted with helping out his former student, Fantastic Beasts lead Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne).

As Scamander heads to Paris, he has been tasked by Dumbledore to help stop dark wizard Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) who has escaped from the Magical Congress of the United States of America following the events of the first film.

Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein and Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski are also seen as Scamander prepares to confront Grindelwald, who hopes to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald from director David Yates and written by Rowling, is set to arrive in theatres on November 16.

The Grinch is coming soon!

Benedict Cumberbatch provides the voice for The Grinch in the first trailer for Illumination Entertainment’s upcoming animated adaptation of Dr Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

The clip features the grouchy, green character going through his daily routine alongside his dog Max. The Grinch is then seen causing trouble inside a Whoville supermarket by making a jar of jelly wanted by a customer fall to the ground and placing nasty pickles into a customer’s cart.

The Christmas-hating Grinch gets what he deserves when he gets punched in the face by an inflatable snowman.

Universal Pictures and Illumination (Despicable Me, Secret Life of Pets) is set to release The Grinch on November 9. The Grinch was previously adapted into animated television film in 1966 and as a live-action film starring Jim Carrey in 2000.
