Losada, Ulloa shine in Spring Polo Cup

LAHORE: Rizvi’s/Master Paints and Barry’s registered easy victories in the Spring Polo Cup here at the Lahore Polo Club ground on Thursday.

Four goals by Juan Cruz Losada and three by Hamza Mawaz Khan helped Rizvi’s/Master Paints beat Newage/Guard Group7-4½. From the losing side, which had half goal handicap advantage, Salvador Ulloa registered a hat-trick and Raja Arslan Najeeb contributed one.

In the second match, Barry’s outclassed Master Paints Black 7½-1. Eight-goal Tito Ruiz Guñazu contributed three goals for the winners, while Ahmed Bilal Riaz struck two and Raja Mikael Sami hit one.

The winners also have 1 ½ goal on handicap. From the losing side, Saqib Khan Khakwani scored the solitary goal.

In Friday’s only fixture Army Whites will take on Diamond Paints Blacks.
