MANSEHRA: An army soldier, who was martyred in Indian shelling in Nikyal sector across the Line of Control the other day, was laid to rest in Ghari Habibullah here on Saturday.

People from different walks of life, army personnel and family members largely attended the funeral prayer of Adil Shafique. A small contingent of army presented salute to the martyred following the body was laid to rest Brigadier Usman laid the floral wreath at the grave of the martyred on behalf of the chief of the army staff.

On the occasion, the family members told reporters that they were ready to render more sacrifices of their motherland.
