CPNE meeting today

KARACHI, May 2: The standing committee of the Council of Pakistan Newspapers Editors (CPNE) will meet in Lahore on Tuesday. The meeting, to be presided over by CPNE president Arif Nizami, will review the state of freedom of the press in Pakistan and discuss issues related to government-press relations, media complaints commission, applications for CPNE membership and reports of sub-committees.—PPI
