eFIR

Published November 21, 2017

I FAIL to understand why the Sindh police have provided an eFIR filing facility on the Internet when it has no intention to take action on it.

I have lodged eFIRs/complaints with the Sindh inspector-general of police, the SSP and SHO concerned but no action has been taken by them.

Unfortunately the traditional ‘thana’ culture still prevails and a redressal of citizens’ grievances has no priority with those who wield power.

The Sindh chief minister should probe this issue and ensure relief to citizens.
