ISLAMABAD: The Subh-e-Nau National Clay Court Tennis Championship will be played at Pakistan Tennis Federation Complex courts here from Oct 22 to 27.

This was announced by Shahida Kausar Farooq, chairperson of Subh-e-Nau, on Wednesday.

The National Clay Court Tennis Championship is a flagship event which SN hosts every year.

Shahida said that players will be seen in action in seven different categories which include men’s singles, men’s doubles, ladies singles, boys juniors under-18, boys under-14 and a mandatory category of under-10.

She added that besides a hefty amount in prize money, the outstation players will also be paid daily allowance until their elimination.

Mahvish Chishtie, a former national tennis champion, will be the tournament director. Last date of entries is Oct 20.
