Maryam’s campaign

Published September 19, 2017

ON the one hand, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has been crying hoarse at press conferences and public gatherings by asking ‘mujhe kyun nikala?’ (Why was I removed as prime minister?).

His daughter, Maryam Nawaz, on the other hand, while campaigning for her mother for NA-120 election, told the people that his father was removed for not drawing salary from his son’s company in the UAE.

The Supreme Court should issue a statement giving exact reasons for Nawaz Sharif’s removal from the prime minister’s office for having a life beyond his means of income and for failing to produce money trail with which properties worth billions of dollars were purchased in different parts of the world.

A full stop should be put to Maryam Nawaz’s alleged disinformation campaign.
