TOBA TEK SINGH: Seven members of a family of Multan were injured when a bus going to Faisalabad from Chichawatni hit a pickup on the Rajana-Faisalabad road on Sunday.

Rajana police said the family had parked the pickup by the roadside to purchase eatables at Gujjar Chowk when the bus hit it from behind. All the seven persons on board the pickup were injured in the incident. Rescue 1122 shifted them to the District Headquarters Hospital Toba Tek Singh. Three of them were discharged from the hospital after first aid; however, four of them, namely Umair, Razia, Uzair and Rizwana, were admitted. Later, the doctors referred Razia to the Faisalabad Allied Hospital in critical condition.

TORTURED: The villagers allegedly tortured and kept in illegal confinement a taskforce team of the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) after it caught one of them stealing electricity from the main line.

Kamalia Sub-Divisional Officer Haroon Yasin, in an application, informed Rajana police that one Zaigham Abbas was caught stealing electricity. He and his accomplices from the village attacked the Fesco team when they tried to sever electricity meter from Abbas’s house. Police have not registered a case yet.

APML: All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) chief coordinator Ahmad Raza Kasuri says that after the 2018 election Imran Khan and Pervez Musharraf may become prime minister and president, respectively.

Addressing a press conference in a private school at Gojra’s Hasnia Colony, he said it would be better if Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif resigned from his office on his own in a respectable manner; otherwise, ‘Go Nawaz Go movement’ would result in end of his government. He claimed that under a secret deal between Nawaz Sharif and Jindal in Murree meeting, Nawaz Sharif would soon hand over Kulbhushan Jadhav to India. He said when Pervez Musharraf would lead a movement after his return to Pakistan before next election.

Earlier, Mr Kasuri inaugurated the private school branch.
