BADIN: A Hindu sepoy of the Pakistan Army who died under mysterious circumstances in North Waziristan late on Thursday evening was buried in the Rajseen graveyard near Nindo Shahar with full military honours on Friday.

Officials at the Rajo Khanani police station said that according to the information they received from the military authorities, Sepoy Lal Chand Rebari, 30, had died in a mysterious accident while performing his duties in the tribal area.

A number of army officers and personnel, besides Rebari’s family members, relatives, friends and neighbours, attended his last rites held at the shrine of Pir of Rebaris, Sufi Saint Rajseen Soomrani.

The deceased soldier was the father of four small children and a resident of Mohammed Ismail Noutkani village, situated near Matli town. His close relatives told reporters that they were proud of Lal Chand Rebari who earned honour by laying down his life in the line of duty.
