ISLAMABAD: The Sabzi Mandi police have arrested three drug peddlers and recovered 3.85-kg narcotics, police said here on Monday.

The police teams patrolling the area of I-11/4 intercepted three persons and recovered narcotics of different quantity from them.

The Secretariat police recovered a 30-bore pistol from a man, the police stated, adding that the Kohsar police nabbed three persons for decanting gas in cylinders illegally.

Meanwhile, the capital police along with the Rangers and other security agencies on Monday searched the areas of Khanna and Aabpara and arrested 31 suspects including nine Afghans, they added.

More than 300 houses were searched in G-7/2, Sohan, Allama Iqbal Colony and slum areas, they stated, adding that the arrested persons had been shifted to police stations for further investigation.
