Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh endorsed Peshawar Zalmi and wished Shahid Afridi good luck in the Pakistan Super League 2017 in a video message shared on Tuesday by Peshawar Zalmi on Twitter.

In the video, Singh is seen wishing the team and Afridi good luck for the tournament. In a message of encouragement for the Peshawar side, he is also pictured saying: "Go get it boys, the cup is yours!"

The support comes with the Board of Control for Cricket in India's refusal to allow its players to take part in any T20 league other than their home-grown Indian Premier League in the backdrop.

Last year, it was Indian star batsman Yuvraj Singh who had sent a good luck message to Afridi.

Yuvraj had heaped praise on Afridi, saying "Jis team ma Shahid Afridi hoga une tu jeetna he hai" (The team that has Shahid Afridi playing for it will win automatically).
