Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir Rao Anwar has reshuffled six station house officers (SHO) just a day after he resumed his post.

Rao Anwar also ordered to shift three post in-charges and head moharars of five station houses with immediate effect.

Inspector Mujtaba Bajwa has been appoint as SHO Steel Town, Inspector Ayser Das has been posted to Sukhan, Inspector Sadaqat Shah to Quaidabad, Inspector Khaliq Marwat to Malir city, Inspector Ahmed Khan to Ibrahim Hyderi and Inspector Asmat Marwat to the Gulshan Maymar police station.

Similarly, Sub-Inspector (SI) Younus was made inchage of Khuldabad post, Assistant SI Ameer Baloch was posted to Rehri Goth post, ASI Farasat Shah Afghan Camp post.

Rao Anwar was reinstated on Friday on direct orders issued to Sindh police by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah. He was suspended after he raided Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hasan's house without the permission of the Sindh Assembly speaker.

Syed Murad Ali Shah had earlier asked the Sindh inspector general to suspend Anwar for arresting Hasan without “taking the government into confidence”.

Following his suspension orders, Anwar had clarified before the media that permission from the speaker of the Sindh Assembly was not needed before the arrest of any lawmaker.
