Renowned Pakistani batsman Ahmed Shahzad has been fined Rs20,000 after he ‘misbehaved’ with an umpire during a match between Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited and Habib Bank Limited (HBL).

Ahmed Shahzad is skipper of the HBL team.

The match was being played as part of the on-going departmental one-day cup.

The fine was imposed after Shehzad reacted to the umpire's decision, after which the match referee, Anis ur Rehman, reported the incident to the management, who decided to fine the cricketer with a Rs20,000 penalty.
