THE All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) has expressed its pleasure over the Balochistan government’s decision to raise its advertising budget by 40 per cent and welcomed Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri’s assurance of fairness in distribution of advertisements to publications based in the province.

Mr Zehri held out the assurance during a reception for the society’s office-bearers on Thursday, according to a press release.

The APNS apprised the chief minister about the problems being faced by Balochistan-based publications. CM Zehri said he would do his utmost to address the industry’s concerns, the press release added.
