SHANGLA: Several workers of ANP resigned from the party and joined the Qaumi Watan Party at Koz Kana here on Monday.

ANP workers announced their decision during a function. QWP district chairman was the chief guest on the occasion. ANP workers Mian Fazal Ali, Wahid Khan, Fazal Akbar, Sardar Ali, Mian Zaman Shah, Bakhtiar Ali, Arshad Hussain, Rahat Khan, and Ihsan Ali announced to resign from the party and joined the QWP. On the occasion, the new entrants said they were inspired by QWP Chairman Aftab Sherpao’s efforts for Pakhtun’s progress.

UNDERAGE DRIVERS FINED: The police claimed to have fined scores of unlicensed underage drivers.

According to a press release issued by the district police office, the action was taken in view of the increasing accidents on the roads. It said that over 200 drivers had been booked and fined.
