New LDA DG

LAHORE: The government on Friday appointed Zahid Akhtar Zaman as new director general of the Lahore Development Authority after it accepted a four-month leave application of DG Nabeel Javed.

Mr Zaman, a BPS-20 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service’s 24th common, has already worked on various important posts, including Multan DCO.

“Mr Zaman is likely to take over the office of LDA DG on Saturday (today),” an official source told Dawn.
