JHANG/OKARA: Four people were electrocuted in Jhang and Okara on Saturday.

In Jhang, the six-year-old son of Afzal died of electric shocks in Jabarnagar on Dars-i-Sakina Road when he touched the 11KV transmission wire passing over the rooftop of their house.

He was trying to retrieve a stray kite hung on wires. When his mother came to rescue her son, she also suffered a shock and died.

In Okara, brothers Waseem and Nadeem were electrocuted at a poultry farm in Nama Jindeyka village near Haveli Lakha when they touched a live water supply pipe.
