RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif met civil and military leadership after arriving on a day-long visit to the Czech capital Prague on Wednesday.

On arrival, the army chief was presented the guard of honour, Director General of ISPR Lt Gen Asim Bajwa said in a Tweet message.

The COAS separately met the Czech chief of general staff and the deputy defence minister and discussed issues of mutual interest, military to military and defence cooperation.

The civil and military leadership of the Czech Republic expressed special interest in training of Czech military officers by the Pakistan Army.
