ISLAMABAD: A teacher, who went missing from H-8 three days ago, was found injured in his car near Shakarparian.

A police official of the Industrial Area police station said the car was found in a ditch with one of its tyres punctured. The injured teacher was taken to the hospital.

“The family of the teacher reported him missing three days ago. On Sunday, some children who were collecting dry wood, told Aabpara police about a vehicle they had found in the ditch,” he said.

“I think the car fell into the ditch after its tyre got punctured. Since the driver had his seatbelt fastened, he survived,” the police official said.

He added that Rs165,000 was also found in the vehicle and that the police had handed the amount over to the family.
