OKARA: Eighty-four people were booked in an electricity theft case after the Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) authorities found them stealing electricity in Dhulyana village near Hujra Shah Muqeem on Friday.

A Lesco team, led by sub-division assistant manager operation Ahsan Aziz, conducted a raid and found 84 people of the village, including Altaf Shah, Atta Muhammad and Manzoor Ahmad, getting electricity by using hooks on the main supply lines. All the people were nominated in the case.
