why should the people take the law into their hands? This will tear the society and undermine the religious liberty.

And here in India, Owaisis and the likes frequently insult Hinduism and yet move around freely. And they say India is intolerant.

If one cannot criticize beliefs and the other cannot accept it then there would be no progress. I had no problem when they released the Da Vinci Code or questioned the Bible. I know that it is an irony that Roman Catholics are called so when the Roman Empire crucified Christ. We must allow ourselves, our beliefs to be criticized. I saw a film once- in that the entire village is blind. The reason that they have no eyesight is because they give drops of a certain pod to new borns. The juice of this pod impacts eyesight. But it was considered holy to do so and the village elders insisted on keeping up the tradition. Those who did not give the holy drops were asked to leave the village. Once a trader stumbles upon this village by chance. He is amazed at how this village survives being blind. He managed to befriend the villagers. He tells them things about their village - the villagers believe that he is someone with divine power. Hope the gist is conveyed.

Poor science teachers don't know about economics and law.It happens everywhere to the science teachers.

Well done no should be allowed to insult other religion just preach peacefully without insulting anyone that way everyone listens to your message and not get repelled by it.Muslims who insult other religions should also be jailed because they disrespect Islam itself as well as other religions.

@sbk well if I were teaching "science" I would be focusing more on science and less on telling people that hey what your religion says is wrong. I would leave that to those people. I don't think science curriculums focus on heaven and hell these days.

Every open minded teachers should criticize their own religions and religions all over the world. It is the religion that is the main cause of misery and misunderstanding among the human being. As soon as we understand this, mankind will progress.
