OKARA: A-Division police registered a terror case against a man on Friday for allegedly raping a minor girl on Thursday night at Sidra Ghafoor Colony.

The suspect took away a six-year-old girl from a mehndi function at the house of Yousaf and raped her.

After a medico-legal examination of the girl, the case was registered under rape and terror charges.

Police arrested the suspect.

Killed: A man died while his son and another man suffered injuries on Friday when a gas compressor exploded in their house in Satgrah village.

The compressor of the refrigerator exploded in the house of Siddique who died instantly while his son Saeed Ahmed and guest Shoaib received critical wounds and were shifted to the Okara District Headquarters Hospital. Saeed was referred to Lahore in a critical condition.

CASE: B-Division police registered a case against three police officials on the orders of the court on Friday.

Kashif Masih filed a petition in the court of Additional Superintendent of Judge Muhammad Saeed Rafique that Assistant Sub-Inspector Saeed along with constables Waqar Khan and Sajjad Khan breached the privacy of his house and family at Sidra Ghafoor Town on Feb 15 and took his mother into custody. She later alleged that police officials had raped her.

Christians protested in front of the police station and then her mother was produced at the police station.
