LAHORE: The resignation of PTI’s Lahore chapter chief Shafqat Mahmood has been accepted and Punjab organizer Chaudhry Sarwar has been given additional charge of the Lahore affairs, says a notification issued by central organizer general Jehangir Tareen.

IK needs to bring him back. He needs to select his leaders from the very people who were with him when pti was first formed. He must shed off the so called "electables", otherwise there pti will remain a status quo party.

Good, Shafqat was another saner voice in PTI, all such elements (others include Asad Umer, Hamid Khan etc.) need to be pushed to the background. This way PTI will shed off its skin and be another PMLN or PPP.

Who other than PTI can do that. We have royalty and family politics both with Sharifs and Zardari where as true straight man Imran Khan is suffering. Hope people of Pakistan realize this before it is too late.
