BADIN: A day of mourning was observed in Matli town on Friday for the death of Javed Ahmed Nizamani, 32, the grandson of eminent writer and journalist Raees Karim Bukhsh Nizamani.

Most shops in the town remained closed and a large number of people visited the Nizamani family to condole his death.

The young Nizmani was shot dead and his cousin, Shoaib Nizamani, was wounded by robbers who had barged into their grocery shop in Houston (US) late on Thursday night.
