THATTA: British Council for Sindh and Balochistan Director Robin Davies has observed that children of the coastal district of Thatta have enough potential and talent to prosper in education.

Joint efforts by parents and teachers could yield better results in creating an educated future generation in this area, he said.

Mr Davies stated this during a one-day visit of Thatta district to inaugurate a newly renovated Government Girls School Sajan Khan Jokhio near hilly terrain town of Jungshahi, financed by British Council and implemented by a local NGO here on Wednesday.

Mr Robin also visited Government Primary School Jherruck where the British Council has initiated a project under the title ‘Take a Child to School’ (TAC) aimed at improving the standard of education as well as teaching skills of local teachers through modern methods being introduced in the civilized world, including the UK.
