ISLAMABAD: The capital police have arrested nine outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered two vehicles, narcotics, weapons and looted items from them, police said.

A team of anti-car lifting cell (ACLC) arrested a person involved in the car snatching and recovered weapon from him. During interrogation he confessed to committing the crime in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

The police also recovered a vehicle which he snatched recently, the police added.

Likewise, the Bhara Kahu police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 310 gram hashish from him, while the Bani Gala police nabbed a man for carrying a 30-bore pistol.

The Karachi Company police seized a car stolen from Gujranwala and arrested a man. The Tarnol police took into custody two persons for their alleged involvement in fraud.

Furthermore, the Koral police apprehended a man and recovered a 30-bore pistol while Sihala police nabbed two Afghans for residing illegally in the country.
