Sindh Police win Independence Day netball

KARACHI: Sindh Police team beat Karachi Region outfit 17-12 in an exhibition netball match played here as part of Independence Day celebrations at the Mini Sports Complex, Nazimabad. The match was jointly organised by Sindh Olympic Association and Sindh Netball Association.

For Sindh Police, Jamaluddin, Muhammad Ajmal and Shahzad performed outstandingly. International umpires Muhammad Khalid and Anwar Ahmed supervised the match.Mudassar Arain, Secretary General, Sindh Olympic Association (SOA) and Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) was the chief guest on this occasion and distributed the prizes among the teams and players.

Other dignitaries present on the occasion included PNF Treasurer Muhammad Riaz and Secretary, Karachi Olympic Association Syed Gohar Raza.
