Throwball umpiring course ends

MURREE: The three-day National Throwball Umpi­ring Course 2015 concluded at Murree on Friday. As many as 86 participants from different schools, colleges, universities and departments took part in the course besides local Murree school teachers, coaches and officials.

Maqbool Arain, General Secretary Pakistan Throw­ball Federation, later distributed shields, gifts and certificates among the participants.

He also announced that the Girls Throwball Champio­nship for schools and colleges will be held in the first week of September which will carry a bumper prize money of Rs100,000.

Secretary Punjab Throw­ball Rana Sajjad, General Secretary Pakistan Rocball Federatoon, Ume Laila Kalsoom, Wasif Ahmed, Qazi Farooqi were also present on the occasion.
